Is there something I could do to send signals to Google to show that I am in Matthews, NC?Ģ months ago my listing quit showing up at all unless you typed exact business name What could possibly cause my listing or Google to do this? I have been without my listing for a few months now and have NO calls coming in from it. If you search Locksmith Independence, KS it shows up on the maps. If you search Locksmith Matthews, NC my listing does not show up at all. Keep in mind the GMB is in Matthews, NC All my service areas and the actual map show the correct areas. Now if I search my business name under the auto populate I see it with Independence, KS on the listing. I pretty much do not have any traffic, views or calls now. Posted about my SAB listing a few weeks ago about not showing up in search only when you entered the exact name.

Clear-eyed in the face of her own mortality, she produced a series of courageous poems that are, as Carol Ann Duffy said of her work, ‘laced with the hard stuff’. Poignantly, these late poems are also Satyamurti’s nuanced poetic response to having her voice box removed following a diagnosis of laryngeal cancer. The Hopeful Hat is a posthumous collection from a poet whose work is informed by her keen eye for social injustice and, equally, by the breadth of her compassion. The break would give me that opportunity. I remember joking in graduate school that I would be so happy to just read fiction again, but the problem was I never actually did that. A lot of it was an excuse to escape to reconsider the media I was consuming to re-shuffle the deck so to speak. A few weeks before the election I took a semi-purposefully timed break from social media. I should probably mention I’m not reading this book to not just be a part of the book club. I’m not exactly sure if this is the proper way to be involved, but it’s how I intend to capture my thoughts. You can read up on background and reading dates here. These are the two sentences that end the second chapter of We Make the Road by Walking, which is a transcribed dialogue between Myles Horton and Paulo Freire. The brilliance of this novel-and I mean, aside from the brilliance in the telling of a major historical episode about which most North Americans know very little and which provides some critical lessons in political relationships-the brilliance lies in the merger of fast action and humor and very real characters and startling graphics with a shattering sense of the brokenness of the world and our terrible need for compassion. When Douglass wrote this book in 1845, slavery was still legal in much of the United States. Unsurprisingly, Narrative is bit more than an autobiography it's also strong political text. It's one of the most thrilling, inspiring and powerful autobiographies that's out there. That's right: Douglass fought against the heinous system of slavery and learned how to read and write, fought against the tyranny of amoral masters, and fled to freedom. To be honest, I didn’t know that Marsh was from New Zealand.ĭeath in Ecstasy is a whodunnit but the setting is not a classic one. I wanted to read a book by Marsh something I hadn’t done since my years of crime binge-reading in my teens. I picked Death in Ecstasy by Ngaio Marsh for Kim’s Southern Cross Crime Month. Especially since this one doll accompanies us to the library, joins in on family dinners, and has even made a splash in the tub (sadly, baby’s torso is cloth). Over the last few weeks, I have completely embraced the idea that my boys play with dolls. When all’s said and done, they are both still dolls! The only real difference is that dolls are more realistic, and the latter is from the world of fantasy. Regardless, I quickly realized that this baby doll was no different from his Elmo or any “boy” action figure. I even tried to convince him to play with Elmo instead, but any mama of a toddler knows some battles aren’t worth fighting. I’m going to be completely honest…at first, I was a little freaked out that he was so into this doll (but it was a step up from the flat green Lego he used to carry around). Like most moms, I enjoy the calm moments. On a rare occasion, you can find them all cuddled up on the couch, reading books together, or building a city out of Duplo Legos. My three kiddos spend most days running around, screaming, and fighting over toys. I also have 23-month-old boy/girl twins who are both infatuated with Elmo.
